OER

In my opinion I think that the OERs can be a good thing but also a bad thing.  OERs are convenient in the way that they are lowering the cost of books and education in general.  It is getting very hard to afford the cost of schooling for many families and this helps that situation.  But I also think that is could be a bad thing.  I don't like the fact that teachers are able to access things like tests and quizzes.  I feel that teachers should put together the quizzes on their own, that's the point of being a teacher.  If they can just print off the tests then what else would they be doing in the class since, the websites also have lessons and other things.  I think this is useful for the money factor but I'm not sure about the whole tests part.
